As weekly diners out, we expect restaurants to deliver at least the basics. We make the most of our entertainment book also. Unfortunately we had the displeasure of dining out at Athenia in Milford, we phoned and made a booked on the number which we believed belonged to Scalini's. We therefore missed out our discount - which was the only thing keepng us positive about our meal! They failed to bring menu's to us for at least five minutes and we had to ask for water, the pesto pizza bread was extremely dry and tasteless- would have been better at home! The pollo roma and fettucine pollo were nice, however the tiramisu really concetred our thoughts - despite saying on the sign outside that it's an "authentic italian restaurant", it really isnt. The waiter also advised that it ws Mediteranean rather than Italian - interesting. Even if given a free meal we would not waste our time. Extremely disappointing.
