[Parau Foodies]

We visit this fine restaurant a few times each year, pity we don't make the effort to go more frequently. Just superb! What a setting! We usually book here if we have something special to celebrate, a birthday usually. Wonderful menu, amazing wine list, service to match.
Frankly if you haven't made the effort to visit here, you are obviously not a serious 'foodie'. Just park your car in the Downtown building, catch the ferry, a very pleasant way to travel. Prepare for death at the hands of the maniacal mini-van drivers waiting at the wharf! Next time we are going by chopper. We have previously sailed across and left our yacht anchored in Matiatia. A bit far to sail and return in the same day though.

its has a nice view, its an expensive resturant, the venison i had there was average, but something to do once in a while.
