We had our wedding there in march 2005 , the service and food were excellent , all good reviews from all our guests , we will certainly going back there.
The staff there were so helpful, they prepaired a special menu to suit our taste.

Staff are friendly. I've been to a couple of parties there and the food is great. They go out of their way to cater for all types of functions. Sunday brunch is a good time to go.

Has changed hands and the new owner needs to know how to win repeat customers. Her attitude seems to be that the customer is a necessary evil. Smile woman!! It don't hurt.

Recently attended a function at Fernz, atmosphere was great, food fantastic, and owner (marion i think) could not have been more helpfull and friendly. Everyone i spoke to had a great time. Breakfast the following day was a great pick me up and consdiering that marion had been up till 2.00am cleaning up (i saw this as i was staying in motel) was bright and cheerfull, happy to see us.

Went there last night for Dinner. Bored waitress took our wine and food order at the same time. Unopened wine bottle and 2 glasses were delivered without a word. Entrees arrived soon after and were so-so. Mains were delivered before we had finished our entrees. I ordered the Roast of the Day, the meat was nice but the potatoes and pumpkin had been deep fried to within an inch of there lives. They were black on the outside and mushy inside. The cauliflower and broccoli were nearly raw and the white sauce was cold. My wife had the Eye Fillet which was ordered as medium but was delivered ranging from medium rare to nearly well done. The entire meal only took 30 minutes and we felt obligated to hurry up and finish our wine. Would not go back nor would I recommend the restaurant to others.
