A regular haunt of mine. Great food, timely service and well priced.

A fantastic resteraunt, very friendly, the owner makes a point of getting to know every customer on a personal level. The food is always to a very high level, and it is the cheapest meal you will ever have, don't let the prices fool you, they are in no way a reflection on the quality and taste of the meals. Also do wonderful takeaways.

I visit Sagar almost every 6 weeks, with friends or family that live on the North Shore. Great prices, wonderful meals, very friendly service. They cater just as well for a intimate dinner for 2 as they do for a group of 20 or more.

Terrible food, I would consider this complete waste of money. The food which I had there which claimed to be Indian main course was not even close to what it should be. I read the review and I made a big mistake of choosing it.
I had to register with this forum, just to write this review.

You are better off with some other place

I have never given such a harsh review for any other restaurant till date.

I'm a regular, usually just takeway but have dined which was excellent.
Always happy with the food.

haha I am not mate, between you sound lot like the owner of the place


You should try a proper Indian restaurant and then come here and write about it, problem is not many are good authentic restaurants are here for that.

Being an Indian I wont mock on Indian food unless its very bad, I state again guys, if you wanna try a nice Indian food, you are better off somewhere, this one only makes one curry base for all their curries which is very not true.

.. Nope - not the owner, I'm from England, and trust me, we English like a good curry. Sagar has a pretty decent selection of dishes, however I don't think you can try and pass off say, Lamb sagwala as butter chicken now can you? Please, explain what you mean about the curry bases ...
