ahh Zen and I agree here. This is one of my favourite places in Blenheim for a cheep but very nice meal. We had our Xmas Dinner here last year and it was surperb. Hope to do it again this year.

Prices have just gone up! Now $6 for good sized bar meal. Worse thing is that they are so popular sometimes there is big wait for your food. Staff always seem friendly and will try to keep you informed of the wait.
Lack of seating sometimes the only downer.

You can hardly get a good cup of coffee for that here in Auckland! Sounds like I need to live down south. Happened to be in Nelson last week and had an enjoyable time. The local Macs on tap, some of my favourite, even for an Aucklander.

coffee at the Springlands only $2.50, can't think of any cafe's in Blenheim where you'd pay over $5 a cup, for a bowl maybe.

we've had the buffet but yet to try their steak nights, we might have to follow Zen's advice and try that soon as well

when they put thier prices up for bar meals the standard went down. good service tho
