Sorry that the restaurant was not notified in this instance. The email service where the site is hosted went down. This is the first time that it has happened in 4 years and I am very sorry. But glad that the restaurant accommodated you.

I have phoned through other bookings where the restaurants did not get contacted.

I have had many thousands of seats successfully booked through the system and it is frustrating to all concerned when there are technical failures. Sorry again.
