Etrusco is always one of my fav.!! The pasta is awesome, specially the "penne al fungi"!! I love the interior which is so so fine dining (thats very hard to find in Dunedin). It locates on the 1/F of the Savoy building, so if you are having a date with someone and booked a window seat just on top of George Street then u've got one of the most romantic spot! Beware of noise tho, sometimes this place can be quite noisy.

Wonderful lively Italian atmosphere, fantastic fun, great consistent food.

Brillaint wine list that changes every 3-4 months that has a blend of NZ and Italian wines with the odd Aussie Shiraz thrown in.

Frederico (proprietor) will provide vast knowledge about the food and wine and will keep you entertained with many an anecdote.

Must try: Wild Boar, penne el verde and Ametriciana bianca.

i think this place is great. always here to eat at a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. the food is delicious and not expensive. Always get what you ask for. Only flaw i can think of is the compulsory set menu at $25 a head with a booking 8/10 or more
