Yes it is awful. The food tasted weird and very strange. I went there with my family and ended up having diarrhea so we all queue up outside the loo!!!! The food is not nice at all, it taste nothing but soy sauce!! Interior is just like any old Chinese Cuisine, that lost contact with the real world for decades. I will never go there again. Besides, it is not that cheap!

Yeah I agree, the food is pretty bad. I do not recommend this restuarant as there are cheaper and much tastier food places elsewhere. Location is not the issue as I have a car; as I'm prepared to travel to the other side to get a good feed. The interior is a little tired looking and the cutlery filthy. The table mats were sticky with some sort of grease. The menu lacked the 'wow' factor and was not very original. We are in the 2000's not the 1960's! Out with the chicken and cashews and beef with blackbeans, in with the menus that make you salivate such as ginger prawns with garlic butter. We tried the sweet the sour pork and the pieces of pork had more batter than meat. Whereas since the most of the meat was fat, you'd could hardly taste the meat at all. The soups were boring tasting. They tasted as if salt was added to some chicken broth. When we ordered some wine from the wine list, the waiter said half of it was out of stock and he had to go back and forth into the kitchen each time I made an enquiry because neither he knew nor was the prices written on the winelist! Lastly the toilets, which were dimly lit, seemed if they had not been cleaned for quite some time.

Just a little comment on the beef and black bean meal which i tried out at this place, the meat was very chewy and the whole meal itself tasted a bit bland........only stimulated my salty and sweet taste buds ! also the "chicken fried rice" dish should contain ONLY the meat chicken, however a few pieces of roast pork and shrimps were discovered buried under neath the pile of rice....!
