Been here for yum char numerous times in the weekend! I make a note to go before 11.30 to avoid the rush/stampede in the carpark and at the entrance! The venue is one level relatively clean and it has taken heavy traffic wear and tear in the last 3 years! The place has private rooms to one side and can cater for wedding functions! Can yum char alone or up to 10+ on the bigger tables. The food is wheeled around by very vocal chinese women and they have all your yum char favourites i.e duck feet, spring rolls, pork buns fish ball prawn ball etc. Ones to watch out for here is the yellow durian or green rock melon creamy sponge balls these are the size of a softball and are a fav with the kids. The egg tart is another fav with the kiddies too. I usually watch out for the deep fried mashed taro filled with pork mince n spring onions similar in size to a curry puff n very tasty.
If you intend on eating at 12 or after then booking is essential! Remember not to use a common name (esp if your asian) when making a booking or else someone will claim to be you and steel your table. Make sure the name you have picked is easy for chinese to pronounce! Arrive on time and be prepared to still wait, some patrons can drag out the art of sipping tea so the food has time to settle in their stomachs before they start to make a move
