I wanted to ask your opinions about this Googles penalty for having build too many inbound links in a short period of time

I need to do link building for a client and plan to simply build 10-20 links in a span of 3-6 months. Is that okay?

I plan to get links from good sources NOT blogs or forums. My client sells specialty electronics so i will only go to electronics review sites.

At any rate, this is a small site with currently 50 inbound links. will 20 additional links from quality websites that write orginal electronics reviews be a problem you think, in a 3-6 month window?

Google will penalize inbound links and will de-index your website from it's database if the amount of inbound links to your website is in a higher proposition compared to the age of your domain.You got to show Google the purpose of your link building.After all inbound links/backlinks determines your PR.

As far as I concern you should realize that you got to show Google the reason of why your link building. It really matter for PR.

If your link backlink is clean, reasonable, not along a web, which is good. But with the new website more backlinks is considered too limited to be watched, so much more attention to quality backlink just the beginning.

Google dont penalize a website just because it has alot of inbound links. There are plenty of websites which has alot of inbound links. But google might pay attention to your website if you get too many links with in few days.
If you buy 500 links with in one day and drop back to 0 next day, google might think you are using blackhat techniques or buying links. You might get penalize for that.

No this is not like that Google not penalize for the inbound link but if you have low quality back links then it may be the reason. So, do not buy from the link farms and do some manual link building for netter links. If you have good back links Google will reward your website.
