Hi, If i have an RSS feed on my homepage somewhere for fresh content, will google register that information as content for MY SITE or does it just read the site where the info originates from?

Since you have links on pages that are not rel=nofollow, and those links give Google PR to those url's... it does not matter whether the url is an rss feed or a normal page, its all the same. Then Google can read those rss links and so potentially give Google Pr to, and spider from those RSS feeds. I don't know whether Google gives PR via links in rss feeds. Thats an interesting question. Interesting, I get listed on the Google blog search engine via my wordpress blog rss feeds. And because I have the pages well seo'ed, I have found that a number of my wordpress pages rank top or at least top ten on Google blog search. |
