Last Wednesday my 16 year old daughter  text me to tell me she was in Hamilton for a few hours while attending something at Wintec. We meet up at Starbucks and headed down to La Commune for lunch. Gabrielle ordered the chips straight away as she had been to La Commune before with her young friends and said they were yum. I felt like some nourishment and comforting so I ordered the Lentil soup. Well I was suitably impressed, from the new owner being chatty about the business, the grunge decore,the swift service of the dreadlocked waitress and the heartwarming breath of fresh air food. Thankyou God. It is about time someone has freed Hamilton from it's boring, oversaturated and overpriced cafe scene. Keep it up La Commune, and rest assured I will be back with plenty of reinforcements. P.S. Need good music playing all the time. |
