Wonderful service and food. The cuisine manages to be simple and indulgent at the same time. I love the atmosphere down Casabella Lane with great options for different food experiences ranging from French, Thai and now Italian!

The cafe has moved to a larger area, further down Casabella Lane, away from the Barton Street side and towards the Angelsea end. It is now in a newly renovated courtyard, giving it plenty of outdoor space. Despite all this space, it is often busy; so, it pays to get there early at lunch time!

The food is lovely, the desserts are heavenly, and the service is very friendly.

The cafe owner is a very charming French woman, who has an amazing life story! If you get the chance, it's worth having a chat with her, especially if you can speak French.

This cafe also serves gluten-free items!

I am here to tell the truth: the original owner was a kiwi young guy and the French lady, but a year after she kicked him out and stole half of his ownership, and it is completed illegal. By the end of last year, she still keep accusing him, and made up her own stories and tell everyone in Hamilton, blaming him for the shits had happened to the cafe. n ( I used to work there, and seeing that things happened everyday. The French lady, she is amazing with food, but if you want to go into business with her.....Good Luck!!!)

Anyway, the cafe was sold to some Asian and there is no point to go there, as the coffee, food and service is not good at all.
