I will never go to this place again. We went there Last year during xmas holidays, My partner and I ordered our food and then a friend ordered his meal after us ( he ordered the same as us) His order came out first then we thought ours would be out next. Just about every other person in the cafe got their food before us. Ours came out about 20minutes later. When we asked why there was a delay and why our friend got his food before us we got told he ordered before us etc by an arrogant short little man we pointed out no we ordered first so tried to argue with us that we hadnt then he stormed off to the kitchen to check our order numbers...he didnt even come back to apologise to us. VERY BAD SERVICE and this was by the (I presume) Owner. Girl at the counter was lovely though

I have visited Sounds Like Kaff many times and have found it to be very friendly with good service and great food it is also extreemly clean. Because I have worked for many years in the food industry I understand that, to cook, drain and present food well, takes a little time and is not done in a few minutes. Anyone wanting the fast food service should go to M.D's or K.F.C, both can be found in the nearby town of Blenheim, but if you are wanting something really nice then you should try this place.

Thanks for your review of SLK. I am always fascinated when there are bad reviews of an eating establishment - should I keep it, or delete. You have seen the bad review, and then posted a positive response. Would you have posted if you saw no review? Would you have posted if there was no negative review? Very interesting.

Your credibility will certainly be increased if you post a few more reviews of restaurants. I look forward to seeing you around again.

I agree with Zen Angel, service here can be poor. Have called a few time while traveling between Nelson and Blenheim. Good for coffe and food for counter, service of hot food usualy slow.
