Disappointing. Nothing that was bad as such and the service was excellent. They were very busy the night we went too. Nothing stood out, nothing was especially good.

Partner had fried squid rings, served with garlic butter sauce and salad. I had Chicken Liver Pate with Salad and crisp bread slices. Can't say it was toast exactly. It was unusual - not awful but I have to say even my own recipe is better.

Mains: Partner had Fillet Mignon with bacon and mushrooms, I had Rack of Lamb with a herb crust.

His steak was not done to his liking even though he specifed. Likewise the lamb which was quite greasy and the sauce or jus was bland and unmemorable.

Seasonal veges accompanied them - carrots in orange sauce, beans and broccoli in a light cheese sauce. All the veges were hard, not just al dente.
There were also small roast potatoes which were fine.

Again nothing particularly awful, just no better than I could have done at home really.

All the chefs are young and woman. Perhaps that was why?

Won't bother again.

We went to the Falls for my birthday and i have nothing but good to say about them. The Entree's , Dinners and Desserts were excellent, the service superb and the staff very friendly but certainly not over the top. All in all a great night out with wonderful memories.

I took my Dad to The Falls for fathers day. We were seated outside (which we had requested when booking) and it was just perfect.

The staff were excellent the food superb. We both had the Eggs Benedict which was cooked to perfection.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

The staff were great. We'd eloped from Australia to get married and had had the first part of our 'wedding' at a friend's house, but were running late so with the celebrant and our two kids and the groom's brother, we left the rest of the service till between the main course and dessert at The Falls. The wait staff were really good - the gave us a room upstairs to finish saying all the vows yada-yada, then we went back downstairs to finish eating. It was unconventional and laid-back and just the way we wanted it, plus the food was really neat.

In a day when so many are doing away with that formality, it is great to hear you have tied the knot. And the Falls is certainly a great place. Glad that they treated you like a King and Queen for your day.

Many a time the family visit the Falls, and many a time we come away more than satisfied with the service and food. As my wife is a Celiac suffer this is one of the few true places she trust's. So again our thanks the ALL at the falls. WELL WORTH A VISIT.....any time

I dined at The Falls today, and wanted to post some feedback- it was just perfect.
Great food- I had their omelette with Salmon- yum, excellent service which is hard to find in many Auckland restaurants, and the very best coffee around. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
