I've never had a bad meal here. Not the best outlook at the back of the restaurant, but on the whole, the food and service is quite good. Not expensive either.

Went to Giggles the other week and had a steak. The worst steak I have ever eaten and I told the owner that too. Also my partners blackened fish was a disappointment. It's hard to to bring back to life a rump steak that's been marinated then frozen. The fish was so dry and overcooked, with a similar texture to charcoal. I've learnt from coming here that the more acceptable meals are the Mexican ones such as Ranchero Burrito or Feitas. I would only order these meals at this restaurant. |

Service, food & margaritas were great, I have been twice and the owner remembered us by name, we showed up with no booking!! I had Cajun Chicken on the waitresses recommendation (I love spicy food and this hit the spot) my partner had the Mexican Chicken, both dishes were superb! As Steve said, the view out the back isn't the best, but can be forgiven, cute boutique friendly place, lovely staff & great food. I'll be back!! |

Ignored the rumours about this place from colleagues who live local and thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt? I should have listened to the rumours! 7 oclock thursday n we were the only ones in there. Decor is more tired than a cobb n co! Supposed to be Mexican n New Orleans themed but smelled more like an indian restaurant! Waitress was friendly n attentive! Soft drinks were flat. Mains were precooked frozen and reheated! I hate going to an eatery who claim they do authentic food only to be violated. Avoid the new Orleans dishes and stick to simple Mexican dishes! Definitely not value for money either! |
