Where does one start.
The place is just bad,
(Party of about 27, booked more than 2 weeks before the event)
The menu is very limited, they had 5 starters and 5 mains on their menu, out of the 5 mains you could only order 3 (as they did not have the other 2 in stock). We were only told this once the very slow waitress came around to take the orders.
Starters and Mains came out at the same time.
Out of the party of 27 of us they served the child's and about 5 other meals and "forgot" about the rest of us, we waited about 1.5 hours before we all had our meals on the table, food was bad, burnt food.
Some in the party ordered "Fish of the day" well that "day" must have been months ago as the fish must have been in the freezers that long.
Staff are rude (telling children if they run around they would “get glass in their face”).
One of the groups ordered a main and got the same amount of food as the person who orders a starter (at twice the price).
No discounts for the bad service, rude staff, demanding little fat man that gets pissed off when you take photos.

Stay away, you would get better service at KFC

The Howick Club
I have read the review for sprag and find that though some parts maybe true for his experience.
I have been to The Howick Club many times and I have never had less than welcoming experience.
The menu is plentyful and the waitresses are fast and efficent. I have had a job working as a waiting staff in the past.
The Howick Club is a fantastic place and gets really busy due to its popularity. There can be mistakes made when you have a full restaruant and plenty of orders.
The restaurant has also recently been taking on new people and training them so mistakes will be made due to in experience of staff but this will soon fade.
The staff there are so polite and welcoming to everyone i find it hard to believe any of them would be rude to am]ny of there customers
I give the Howick Club a 9/10for there great staff and excellent food.
I would seriously advice people to go as its an experience not worth missing.
