| Aromas Cafe, Kaikoura
Play the waiting game! We visited this cafe 2 times on a weekend travelling between Christchurch and Blenheim. The first time was for breakfast. Simple egg, bacon & tomato plus coffee, which took 30 minutes to arrive. We had to ask for our coffees. On the return trip we stopped for coffees. After 20 minutes wait, my husband went to the counter with till receipt to prove how long we'd been waiting. We were kept another 20 minutes - no apology, no smile! I hate to think what overseas visitors think. It may look popular but experience tells that it's people playing the waiting game, just like we did. Would we go back - NEVER!  |
