Recently the Dowse has been renovated. The cafe is now called 'Reka' Cons Busy. Reka is extremely popular and if you go there try to avoid the lunchtime rush. Most weekends are also busy Service could be a little quicker, but it is efficient enough. Pros Proberly one of the best places to take out of towners. The setting is beautiful and the menu is excellent as is the food. And added bonus you can take a walk through the Dowse which has some fabulous exhibts. My personal fav is a small exhibt by Gina Matchitt of small brooches. Check out the brooch of 'Madonna of the bathroom'. Summary A must visit for all |
