Brilliant service in terms of very friendly staff and are very prompt.. Food is well prepared and the kitchen and eating area are spotless...The large bowl of coffee is superb, the "soup of the day" is great value at $6 and always hot...The seating is soooo comfy and there is even a Children's play area, if you have little ones.. Magazines & Sunday paper available to read.. so great stuff and we always pop on a lazy Sunday afternoon!

it seems every thime we go to WB's in Lower Hutt we always come away impressed. They recently added an outdoor area which is such a good idea and just makes it seem so spacious. Our kids spend forever in the play area or even the high chairs which are never dirty.

Staff are great, always smiling and food of course is brilliant!

I, personally was not overally impressed on my maiden visit.

Cons:
-It may just be me but I found the bagels rubbery. I had a sandwich bagel with honey smoked turkey. I found it difficult to chew and the filling kept falling out.
-The childrens menu was limiting. My child is allergic to milk products so all I could get him was a plain mini bagel. (as the rest of the menu had some type of cream cheese)
He didn't like it.

Pros:
-I was impressed by the choice of different fillings.
-The restaurant as a whole was clean and spotless, but that should be expected of any food providers.
-The childrens play area is awesome and I like that it is easy for me to watch my little one
-Friendly (even though the young lad serving me was obviously new)

Summary; I'm not keen on returning, but I will one day. Everyone needs to given another chance to make a first impression.

My favourite place to eat in the Hutt. I go almost everyday! im sooo addicted i would definatly recommend wholly bagels!! and everyone is really friendly! I personally recommend the everything bagel with plain cream cheese. =D
