A very pleasant cafe with good priced food and friendly staff. It also has filter coffee with a free refill. This is particularly good value when having a meal. On a lovely sunny day the windows are open and you can eat outside in the courtyard and enjoy the ambience. I go there often to meet my friends. A good place to be for a long lunch.

Unfortunately my last experience of the Courtyard Cafe, in July 2005, was not good. Although the service was friendly and pleasant enough, the meal (chicken filo) was the worst cafe meal I have ever had. It was extremely tough and dried out; it was difficult to get the knife through it. I should have complained at the time. I have not been back and it would take some extremely favourable later reviews to persuade me to do so.
