Quaint little cafe in a very secluded part of Weymouth, next a water estuary which I assume is linked to the Manukau Harbour somewhere along the line.
The menu of this small business is surprisingly extensive, as far as south suburban cafe's that I've visited go. I've had several visits and meals here. Breakfast and lunch, yet to try dinner. The french toast is to die for. Lunch menu is excellent. The staff are friendly and from what I gather the owners and most staff are of Maori descent, which goes toward explaining why for such little money, you are offered so much to eat in one sitting!
Cafe seats about 15 people inside and another 6-8 out front on the added wooden deck. On a sunny day, the deck is the place to dine.
Well worth pulling out your Wises map to find and making the trip to visit, time and time again.
Cafe has a BYO license, with a reasonable corkage fee.
My rating: 9.5 out of 10, with honours.
