| After reading the prior reviews for this restaurant on a different website, I didn't have very high hopes. I dined here last night for the first time. The waitress on reception was cheerful and friendly, wished me a happy birthday and showed us to our table. We were to be seated right in the middle, but she showed us to a table in a smaller, quieter room instead. Our drinks didn't take very long to arrive. The selection of food was good, there were chefs waiting to carve more meat, and the buffet was continually replinshed. I did have a few issues however, the squid was rubbery, the fish bites were terrible - Hoki I presume, and the 'cakey' desserts such as the lamingtons and chocolate log were a tad dry. Their soft serve could have been a bit more substantial as well - when I loaded it with caramel sauce it melted in 30 secs flat. As I left I was given a complimentary adult dinner voucher. Considering I felt pretty queasy, it wasn't quite what I wanted to think about... but I'd go back again, since I won't have to pay next time either. |

| Mediocre
The food range is amazingly good however it is not of the highest quality but really what are you expecting for paying their cheap prices. The set up is not very well maintained and that is the main reason for me giving it an average response. The bathrooms are disgusting and the rest of the restaurant is not much better. |

I found the Valentines was clean--a big A is on the wall of the reception. We had a wedding reception there a couple of weeks ago, we were sit at the private room and we were allowed to decorate the place!!! The waitresses and the bartender were so polite and helpful and cheerful. And i love their food as well. going to have a birthday party there in July
