Use to frequent this cafe quite regularly on Sat morn, The place is located in the old big Fresh/24 hr countdown site at the Penrose rd end it is north facing and enjoys good morning sun, it's clean spacious and modern. I think it's owner operated by a chinese husband n wife team. You have to carefully time your approach to the counter so you are served by hubby because he makes an awesome coffee! Wifey's coffee skills would not have got her a PR to enter this country let alone any other! Hubby is also the cook and his big breakfast is served on a plate the size of a 20" alloy rim! The standard trimmings normally found on a big brekkie which a truckie would enjoy hoofed down with a mug of coffee! I usually order this or the eggs benedict which is great but only comes in the bacon option. I have suggested he offer the salmon option but he is reluctant to include this on the menu! My wifey normally goes with the raspberry waffle which she says is her favourite! Reasonably priced and they are nice couple trying to earn an honest dollar! If you do your laundry away from home I would suggest comming to this shopping block so you can do your laundry 2 doors down and pop into La Fortunes to have a coffe and a bite! It's also a good place for sales reps to hide or meet when your suposed to be doing your sales calls
