During our stay in Napier we visited Breakers on several occasions experiencing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Although a brasserie type restaurant at no time were we disappointed, the service being always prompt and cheerful.

The decor was modern and allowances were made for family entertainment. However, at peak times the noise level did become somewhat excessive.

Two types of menu were provided: one which listed the dishes under a price heading e.g. $7, $9, $12, salads, and extras; and the other which listed the dishes under headings e.g. snacks and starters, burgers, seafood, steaks, etc.

The meals were ample and the only time we were disappointed was when ordering from the "blackboard". the vegetables that accompanied the "Roast of the Day" were somewhat "tired".

Our organisation would go there for lunch most Fridays and enjoyed everything as Breakers offer a variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. The customer service was excellent and some would go as far as helping our elder staff memebers with specials and catered to their requirements.
