I have really wondered about the quality of Denny's restaurant given all the bad reviews. It concerned me enough that I made a special effort to dine there with my family.

We loved the fact that it was open 24 hours - when we were looking for somewhere open at 9:30pm, Denny's was one of the few restaurants open. And there were quite a few people there.

We had a great time, but we did note some of the quality issues:

• The menus were very dog eared
• Our meal took forever to come - over 30min - but they did warn us about it after we had been there a while.
• We got offered the wrong meals, just as well we didn't accept them

I compare this with a recent dining experience at New Lynn Lone Star - high quality menus, quality quick service, classy decor and no confusion over menus.

But overall, we enjoyed the evening at Dennys. A great time out with the kids, all be it a bit on the late side for them.

While there may be some quality issues that happen as noted in the previous reviews, there are a good number of people that go there, and we certainly enjoyed our time.

My family and I dined here recently, the service was great our meals tasted great the waiteress seemed so attentive. I was shocked to find her asking us if there was anything else ahge could get for us and nothing seemed to much. Thank you Denny's for making my families meal out so pleasant. All and all I am happy to go back and would reccomend to my friends.

Revisited here after very happy experience several years back.

Pleased to say that our family ( 3 adults, 2 children, 1 senior citizen) had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Prompt, polite attention, all orders (6 mains & 5 sweets, 7 drinks) all accurately served at appropriate times and very generous helpings.

Thanks to staff for helping us enjoy this special occasion.

As always- treat people well and they will reciprocate.
