 Horse Meat at Canvas Restaurant
Apparently, a TV3 news item tonight mentioned that Canvas Restaurant, Hamilton has horse meat on its menu. The menu item is named a very provocative "Mt Ed is Dead". I have made mention of it on the Canvas Restaurant listing, and invited comment. But I am adding a poll here and inviting comment. Should horse meat be allowed for sale at restaurants? I say yes - as long as it is sold for what it is - cows are sacred to some, others dont eat pork, others are vegetarian. We should all live together without chewing people up for their preferences. And why should the eating of horse be any different?
