The Restaurant Association of New Zealand issues New Zealand Restaurant gift vouchers/Auckland restaurant gift vouchers (from 5 July 2004). The vouchers are sold in $20, $50, and $100 denominations and can be used in over 1,000 establishments throughout the country.

The restaurant vouchers are perfect for family, friends, clients, staff members and can be used for birthdays, staff incentives, client gifts, thank you’s etc.



Restaurant Vouchers are redeemable at Restaurant Association members restaurants, so please check that the restaurant is a member (via the Dinefind website). The Time2Dine website will be updated to show participating restaurants.

The vouchers are available from the Restaurant Associations Dinefind website, and will also be available from Restaurants who are members.

Apart from the Restaurant Association vouchers, there are no other industry wide recognised voucher systems.

Is about time there was a universal voucher system in NZ. Just because you like a restaurant, does not mean others will like it. I will be doing the RANZ vouchers this year for xmas pressies...

I have started adding links from restaurants that accept vouchers, but still lots and lots to do.

Hopefully an inside line to the RANZ will allow me to keep the details up to date. Keeping the forum up to date is one of the important tasks - only having live restaurants is a tough ask.
