I was disappointed by the whole Feather's experience. It started off with the rudest waitress I have ever had, the owner should be enforcing the whole customer service aspect. Then our mains took over 45 minutes to be delivered and then they were cold. I have never had such foul tasting chicken in my whole life. I will NEVER be eating there again.

I completely agree with SammyJ - this place should be shut down - the food is disgusting and the service is terrible - its old and dated interior needs a complete overhaul as well...

Hey, this really is a lovely, very cozy place to go and dine as far as we're concerned! It's not the cheapest nor the trendiest place in town, neither is it noisy, and they don't skimp on the food. Parking is so easy, right outside and it has a wonderful, relaxing feel. We have been going there for over 5 years. In the summer you can eat outside in front of the restaurant next to the lovely window boxes and watch the sun go down while you inhale the fresh salty air of nearby Campbell's Bay Beach or you can dine inside if you prefer and immerse yourself in the rich historic atmosphere of a traditional Olde English pub with all its genuine horse brasses and other fascinating memorabilia displaying it's anglo-saxon heritage. For us, and many of our friends also, this is a nice place to dine out. It doesn't have an enormous menu so you probably wouldn't go there every week but we absolutely love the place. It may not be the trendy place that kiddy trend-setters are looking for unless they've completed their "big OE" and can now appreciate the atmosphere of British history and culture that permeates the environment at Feathers but the owner who will wait on your table is a lovely, genuine lady who will ensure that your meal is to your satisfaction, despite what other critics on this weblist may say. I don't usually write reviews but after stumbling upon the previous reviewer's comments I felt bound to set the record straight. This is our experience anyway, for what it is worth.
