Although I am not an authority on Japanese cuisine, since my first luncheon at Hayami, I have become addicted, and now visit the restaurant fairly regularly. Though I have no real grounds for comparison, the atmosphere is certainly Japanese and the service quick, polite, and unobtrusive. I have sampled most dishes, even being brave enough to order the Combination Sashimi (3 to 4 different kinds of fresh fish with beautiful garnish), and have never been disappointed. For those people who, like me, want a different culinary experience, I recommend lunch at Hayami. A menu, from which you can check the prices, is available from a stand outside the door.
