An unpleasant experience, stressed chef. Under cooked food, plain meals at an excessive price.

 Rude owner
I live in Orewa and I and my partner used to go to Kaizen a lot, but eventually the owner's rotten attitude drove me away. On my last visit there I ordered two coffees over the time I was there and after my second the owner asked me to leave. The place was mostly empty, five free tables inside and four outside, but she still wanted my table with it's space for two people. The other people in the cafe were as surprised as me, and I got some sympathisers as I was told that I should move on. Truly unpleasant experience, and the owner, who is also one of the chefs, should be ashamed of how poorly she treated a frequent customer. |
