tainted by one bad apple! It's a real shame when you come back for a holiday from living overseas and recommend a particular bar to your girlfriends only to be totally let down by the arrogance of one bartender. The place normally rocks especially when Alton used to work there but last saturday will probably be the last time i recommend it anymore. The first round of cocktails were great, they were all listed as $14.50 so when i ordered my next cocktail i expected it to be $14.50 as listed on the cocktails menu, however when i was short changed by $2 i told this to the bartender who offered no apology and said that "no it's $16.50 because it has more spirits in it, " when i showed him the menu whereby all cocktails were listed under the $14.50 price tag, he shrugged and said that it was $16.50 and it's only $2, in a condescending tone as if i was in the wrong and a cheapskate for bringing it up. It wasn't about the $2 it was his attitude towards me, the paying customer. It is not the norm to pay the price for something listed at that price only to be told that it's something entirely different! how misleading...he did muck up my drink the first time so maybe he was trying to make up for wasted stock, whatever it was word gets around, especially in a small city, its a pity because i've written good reviews about chandelier...... |
