The ultimate south Indian Food

Great Place but never go there without Registration on weekends

The food was perhaps the only reasonable thing about this place. Nothing to write home about...

The area was cramped, and the buffet table was all but a 4' x 2 ' on one side of the centre of the room. This caused traffic jams, and people jostling each other causing food to drop. Even saw food being spilled on other people's clothes.

The attitude of the staff is very bad - right from the moment you enter the place. Basically, typical attitude as would be expected from the place, treating customers like cattle.

I would not go back there ever.

Went there a few years back.....the food was great!
I dont eat Indian as all the curries taste the same to me.....(being a half India origin, I know Indian food) but Saffron was great!

I dont if it has changed since, but I loved the food there!

You not alone mate, I find almost all Indian curries are same. Infact I wrote a review about an restauran in Birkenhead, how bad it was.
Some one thinks am I am competiton for them

Between I like saffron for food wise, I prefer take aways than dinning there. The place is cramped, but food is good.

Pathetic service, pathetic food, awful toilets...waste of my money and time on a weekend that could have been spent in a better way

I have been to Saffron many times in the last 4 years and never even once had a bad service or bad food, although must admit the decor can do with a makeover and yes the toilets are nothing to write home about, but then again I am there to eat a meal and quite prepared to overlook bad decor and not so flash toilet as long as the food is good.

My two cents. :-)
