What a pity that the staff here think they are so cool and that you are taking up too much of their precious time. I used to love Joes over by the old post office, back in the day the staff were happy and the place was a great place to hang out and drink coffee. I've been to the relocated Joes (in Searle Lane) a few times now and its lost its magic, I had burnt tasting coffee one morning but when I mentioned it to the staff (no demands for freebies or anything pushy) I was treated like dirt they seemed to think I had never drunk a coffee before nor had I ever used a proper coffee machine, my coffee was crap and the treatment of me left an even worse taste in my mouth.
If you want Joes then I suggest making the trip out to Arrowtown to visit the much friendlier and less up themselves staff, great atmosphere and no one looking at you funny if your not dressed head to toe in designer clothes.
