I am impressed. I have dined here twice now and both times have been very pleasant dining experiences. Its a strange warehouse setting and am not convinced about the red and purple decor but otherwise the service, food and views were fabulous! The food is reasonably priced for Queenstown and the menu items are served exactly as stated. There is nothing worse than ordering a dish only to find that what was stated certainly isn't on your plate! I rarely order a chicken dish but on the last occasion I did as the flavours sounded delicious and that is exactly what I got and the chicken wasn't over cooked! Will definately recommend.

Dined here 2 weeks ago. It was ok, but not what I was hoping for, there is something about this place that is missing and I think its the rooms size and massive windows that takes the character out of the place, with a view like this there should be more ambiance. The food was ok the drunk guys at the table behind us were funny but very off putting, in fact why the heck they were drinking wine was beyond me. I am going to try here again sometime soon and am very much hoping that with a different lot of people up there it might just work. I'll keep you posted.

We really enjoyed Prime. Even though we were too late to get a window table we still had great views. Service was friendly and helpful and I had the best steak I'd eated all year. Hubby had the lamb rump and gave it 9 out of 10 which for him is a very high grade (he's a chef). I can never resist a caesar salad so we shared one to start and it was perfect.

We had a 'forgettable' dinner at Prime before Christmas 08. I had read their claims about the "great ribs" so we had to try them - well they were the worst I've had - EVER! My wife ordered a SALAD and got a SALMON (which she ended up eating - because the waitress lingered uncomfortably and didn't offer to correct the order - and said it was pretty good). The first time the staff asked if 'everything was alright' was when they were clearing our dishes away and although I had been very clear that I wasn't happy with the fact that my ribs had NO SAUCE at all, I was ignored until the end of the meal. To their credit, they wouldn't allow me to pay for they sad ribs or the salmon but I would rather they had sorted out the meals at the start - then I'd have enjoyed the meal and they wouldn't have lost revenue. May be worth another try because the location is great.
