If i have multiple domains that I own, what is the best way to utilize these to help my sites ranking and exposure?

1)redirect each domain to my main site?
2)create a site for each domain and link back as an affiliate?
3)something else?

The worst - have each domain showing for the same site using aliases

The best - create a site for each domain - doesnt need to be an affiliate, best to be a site in its own right, but yes, can alternatively be an affiliate.

Alternative - have 301 redirects so that only one domain is showing for the website.
