Default Joomla! and SEO

I'm considering migrating my current site (static web pages) into Joomla!. I rank pretty high in all 3 major search engines and do not want to lose these rankings, what do you suggest? Should I go for Joomla!? Should I redirect the highly ranked pages? I'm a bit worried but my site's growing and I need some kind of CMS. Any other option?

Joomla is fine, especially if you use the proper rewritten url's that are possible in joomla.

You need to have htaccess 301 redirect from all your main pages to the equivalent pages in joomla.

As per always, just make sure that you properly seo your pages. It is possible to have unique titles, meta descriptions as well as h1's and opening paragraphs, all including the targetted search phrases for each page.
