Hi, I am new to this forum so I will apologize in ahead of time if I am posting in the wrong discussion thread! I have a client who currently has the SEO vBULLENTIN MOD installed in his forum, (BTW, pretty cool!). My question is that he needs me to upgrade the vBULLENTION FORUM from version 3.5.4 to the latest version of 3.6.2. Is there anything I need to do before I install the upgrade to make sure I do not mess anything up to the SEO vB MOD? Thank you! |

vBSEO is a plugin, so no need to concern yourself about vBulletin upgrades. Just upgrade, and it works. With my SEO vBulletin recommendations - they are mostly template changes. There are generally a number of template changes with new vBulletin versions. However, vBulletin has a great template comparison tool - use it to see the changes required to upgrade your current SEO'ed templates to the new updated vBulletin templates. In general, the vBulletin SEO changes are in not many templates, and are clumped together. So does not take long to upgrade. Basically, just be careful in what you do. "Know that you know" what you are doing, and you will be fine. |
