I am quite a fan of his modifications, they are all easy to install and certainly extremely well intergrated; currently using his Articles and Sponser hack.

Just come across a VB CMS system webtemplates by Logician that looks rather excellant

I gave a try with Logicians CMS on a test forum, it requires lot of re-work for a webmaster to make a site full-fledged portal, but at the same time its very flexible for getting the end-results.
