i was send by a Friend that this site have some good info about Seo but i just see you have installing that vBseo the Crazy Price and use Zend .. sorry if i have say anything wrong but that is the truth i will be happy to see a free Vbseo and do the same job of the Crazy Vbseo from vbseo.com

It actually takes a lot of time to properly do a url rewrite, and time should be rewarded. The only url rewrites I have seen properly done, are the ones I have done myself, and vbseo. None of the others I have seen, have done the job properly. There are so many urls that need to be rewritten, and then the effects on vBulletin taken into account for those rewrites (ie whoisonline). With the ones I have done myself, the amount of php coding required was large (pre vb3.5).

I have just been looking at the DC SEO vB URL rewrite and have yet to see a forum that has 100% rewrite that is needed to do the job properly.

In addition, vBSEO has many other enhancements, like code crunching (removal of comments and spaces), and the ability to pick your own url's via config, and addition of rel=nofollows. Basically, it is a totally complete job on the seo of vBulletin package. There remains the onpage SEO items that I personally add to templates - firstwords, h1 header tag, meta description enhancements etc.

So while vbseo is not cheap, neither is time cheap. In fact, vbseo is cheap for the work that has been required to do the job properly.

I find the same vBSeo MOD for PHPBB and IPB and phpNuke and PostNuke is 100 do the same vBSeo Job and free but the truth is the VBSeo price is just like a crazy and also if we make it hell to to get 149$ we will not get the full source code so i just 4get about it .. i was thinking i'm the only person upset about that vBseo but seem like there is 1000 other poeple if u go to vb.org or vb.com u will see some bad commants made ..

Can you please show me a vBulletin website where the DC SEO vB URL rewrite has been done properly. I have yet to see one.

People seem hang up with paying money, yet in the end without $ we are all screwed. I have a family to feed and a mortgage to pay. SEO is my job and I have to get $ somehow. With a properly SEO'ed forum with good Google PR and links, you are also able to make money.

I know a website that use VBSeo and other seo with Page Rank 5 and 6 but their website is not busy site .. and i can talk for my self that my website dose not use any of this trick and we have Page Rank 0 or maybe 2 in some page not sure .. but our site get every day 50+ Regisiter User with 30+ Thread per Day And 400+ Post Per Day so i think that why poeple need how to imporve their community the SEO is just indexing your site in other Search Engine and it will not bring for u a members ..

i'm about to contact the other of DC SEO and see if he can imporve his hack more like vBseo
