This is an overdue post as it was sometime ago that we went there - after being virtially kidnapped off the sidewalk and deposited in a comfortable corner for two!

We were not dissapointed. We had great service by freindly staff who knew their stuff and treated us royally. It was almost as it they sensed that we had just started going out together and were determined to add their tuppence. The Maitre-D supervised the staff looking after us and this says something in such a large restaurant that the Personal Service was not lacking at any time. We have always thought highly of the staff that were on that night.

Leah had been unable to make her mind up on the choice of main, so the Maitre-D gave some reccomendations and from memory, ordered her main for her. She had to agree with him after her meal.

Must agree, very friendly staff, especially the Maitre D, and excellent food. All very reasonably priced as well (for lunch at least it was!). I'd definitely go back there

We had been meaning to try Aubergine after reading all the positive reviews here. We went there with my family when they were over, and were seated immediately. The service was some of the best I have experienced, with the waitress bending over backwards at every opportunity.

My mother is difficult at the best of times good bless her, with her 'oh I hope theres no sauce on that' and 'is that fatty' and 'can I have a bit of this and a bit of that', but the waitress smiled patiently, genuinely wanting us to have a good time. Food was tops too. Good work guys!
