This restaurant won restaurant of the year a few years ago.

Alas its rested on its laurels since then.

Expensive dining for average service and slightly above average food.

Without doubt one of the worst dining experiences ever, drunken party on the deck with cigarette smoke blowing into the dining area, inedible scallop entree, steak meal was sent back once and still came back over done, top prices for below average food and service.

Had a mates wedding there recently. Food was ok, waitress and service was excellent, however owner was there, and he made the night a diaster. He refused to serve cocktails, stoped serving shots, refused to do $2 in by guests (common idea used at many parties were guest pay $2 per drink, and host, Bride and groom, pay rest) this would have ment the tab was higher, as it wouldnt run out as fast and then the money recieved would have been put on bar = more money going over bar!!. So owner refusing to do this ment he missed out of more turn over. He also refused to help carry DJ equipment up or down, meaning the groom and groomsman had to turn up at 1pm to carry equipment up, then race to make the wedding on time, and also stay around late to carry down. NOT GOOD!!!
