Two friends and I had about an hour to kill before the movies, so we stopped in at Molly O Connors for a drink, upon recommendation of the ticket seller at the theatre. At the bar, we were greeted promptly, with smiles, by very friendly staff, and our orders were taken and served effieciently, again with a smile. The price for two wines and a beer = less than $15! Great value! We were disappointed that we had already eaten dinner elsewhere, as the food served to other guests in the bar smelled and looked delicious! The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable and spiked with a bit of fun when a bride-to-be hopped up onto a table for a little dance! Definitely a great place to unwind, whether you're a local or from out of town, as we are. Te Puke and Molly, you surprised us and won us over! We'll definitely recommend you to anyone on their way to or through! |
