I was in there this evening making a booking for Sunday and it has most definitely reopened. The Maitre D' said it was under new management (and chef) for 4 or 5 months now.
We actually tried to book in December but there was a private function on that evening.
We used to go there quite often maybe 8 or 10 years ago so it will be quite interesting to compare the now-and-then.

I have been to Riverfern twice now and enjoyed it both times. Its a blast from the past with the some tables wallpaper and even the same carpet it had twenty years ago. Best of all the food is still good. nothing fancy but good steak done well.What more can you ask for.
