This place could be so much better. i went a few times, maily with work mates, food is very very basic and unimpressive. it takes a while for the tables to get cleared when it's quiet. makes me sad because the place really does have potential. they could also make an absolute fortune staying open for lunch during holidays but for some strange reason they don't.
you do get views over the waitakere city though and the place is perfectly ok for a glass of wine on the way from the beach...

Bad service, bad attitude by staff. Avoid at all costs. They did not want our business. Made us wait for a very long time for our food. When we left after a hour they tried to explain they were short of staff. Why not warn us at the start.

I have enjoyed a number of wonderful meals at Elevation. Its a great sojourn on the way to or from Piha. Love the evenings with the lights of the city.
