Default Do yourself a favour!

I really enjoyed a night at this bar, loved the outside area, gave people a bit of room to move. The crowd didn't make me feel like a grandmother or like I needed to spend $400 on an outfit, just a nice relaxed vibe spiced up later with a salsa band. Admittedly we were there for going away drinks, not so much a dinner for two. Never the less, the smell of the BBQ quickly changed our minds. The outdoor bar is great, it's sheltered, it's warm, it looks funky and has great booths and tables for groups, even heated seats! The garden bar serves up a great summertime BBQ menu, cheap and cheerful. I had the lamb chops a steal for $12. We are talking 1/2 a kilo of lamb chops straight off the hot plate, accompanied by mint sauce, grilled potatoes and green salad. So delicous, so good, great for dampening down the effects of many beers! When you think of the alternatives during a night out drinking - fast food, kebabs, hot dogs - this wins hands down, well done. My partner had the "Steak Sammie" for $13.50. Again another winner - rosemary and garlic marinated steak, BBQd with onions, served on bread with a salad, chutney, grilled potatoes and a small glass of Monteith's beer. What more could you want for under $30?
