I was hanging out for a chai latte, what I was served was disgusting. I sent my chai back and got a regular latte. The waitress explained this café had their own "unique" recipe then told me how the drink was made. Make tea, add spices, boil tea (don't know how long), use as basis for chai latte. Well ... the tea was horribly stewed (you should NEVER boil tea) there was no hint of the spices, the flavour of the stewed tea clashed with the cinnamon topping. This must be the only café in the whole of NZ that has it's own unique recipe. Avoid their chai latte at all costs unless you've acquired a taste for stewed tea. It was not fun. However, my partners drink was good, and the food we ordered was of a good standard.
