This was Novembers choice (Mikes) for us. We were very impressed with this place. Obviously somewhat new and everything was very clean and well presented. Awesome surroundings - lots of lights on ceiling that looked like stars, very nice artworks on walls, lovely staff and very well cooked and presented meals. Not overly priced. The breads we had as a started were awesome. Not your usual slices of mixed breads but a whole wee individual cob, nice and crusty on the outside and moist on the inside. Ours had cream cheese in the middle and we had 2 of them, one with tomato jam and one with oils. Absolutely delicimo!!! I had the pork belly which was a little dry but still nice. Lovely accompaniments, delicious sauce. Mike had the hapuka which he said was also a little dry but still nice. (mike and I do tend to like our meat and fish slightly undercooked). Loey had the schnapper which she raved about and Colin had the Canterbury trio of lamb which he said was different but really nice. I would definitely go back there again as would all of us.
