Xin Hua was Mikes choice for our March dinner but we didnt get there til early April. We dined on the second night they were open. Sited in the old King Dragon, they have spruced the place up a bit and we got talking to the owner who has been overseas to purchase new furnishings. The meals were reasonably priced, very nicely presented and plentiful. A couple of the meals came out in a fried noodle basket - totally edible and really yummy. We all picked one meal each and shared them. Our only complaint was that the service was very slow and the waitresses grasp of english was poor and our meals came out slowly one by one meaning we were not able to have a selection on our plates at one time. We put it down to the fact that they were new and in training and found it easier to give the number of the meal rather then the name. Despite the slowness, they were very polite and also apologetic. Mike and I have since been back to take Mum out for Mothers Day and are happy to say that things have improved greatly in those areas so good on you Xin Hua.
